đź’Ś THE PATHWAY OF GROWTH

🌀 “There is CHAOS before it starts to MAKE SENSE.” 🌀

✨ INTRODUCTION

Maybe I haven’t reached my “peak” yet, but I can assure you of one thing: before you become a better version of yourself or of your life, there’s always a storm of chaos before the sun shines. And not a small one. That’s when you know… and everything starts to make sense.

đź’ WEEKLY REFLECTION

Before moving to London, I was in my last year of secondary school. The truth is, I didn’t feel good at all. Even if I tried to hide it, I was at one of my lowest points academically, and it ended up affecting my personal life too.

At that age, I think everyone has different goals, but many of us share a common need: to fit in, to have friends, to go out, to feel like we belong somewhere. In my case, I didn’t have any of that. Which made me feel even worse, like everything was gray, meaningless. I was completely disconnected—from school, from myself, from everything. All I wanted was to escape.

For me, the solution was simple: to run, to leave, and never look back. And even though people often tell you not to run but to face your problems... this wasn’t just a problem. It was a storm. And I needed to get out of there in order to see the sun again.

I don’t really know how I got through it, but I did a lot to pass it and it passed (I move to London, but it wasn't the reason it pass). What came after, even if it wasn’t perfect, made me grow. I learned, I healed, I reflected on the past, and little by little, I became a better version of myself. I started doing what I truly wanted, and doors I once dreamed of began to open. Not everything was perfect, of course, but that first storm prepared me for all the ones that came after.

It’s not about standing still waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about moving forward, even if the path isn’t clear, even if there are puddles. Chaos often comes from things you can’t control, but you can always choose where to focus your energy: on yourself, on moving forward, on trusting.

That’s exactly what I did. I decided to focus on myself and leave everything that was bothering me behind. I focused on how I was going to study what I wanted, in a different country, in the way I wanted. I put all my energy into creating the life I dreamed of, until it became real.

We can sit in the storm, cry, and let it torment us. But at one point you need to realize that it will pass. You just have to learn how to keep moving forward and keep achieving what you want, even when you don’t know where to start, even when you don’t know exactly where you’re going yet.

Trust the process. Trust that everything happens for a reason, and sometimes it doesn’t happen for a reason too. Trust that this storm is just making you stronger for what’s coming next.

I once read a story that said something like: “Climb, climb that mountain. After it will come a straight path, and then another mountain. But when you look back, the one you already climbed looks so small you’d think it was nothing compared to the one now.” (Even though they’re probably the same size.) You’re just standing in a different position. Every time you climb one mountain, you’re going to find three more. The main thing is knowing you can climb them, or find your own way to keep going.

The truth is, life is full of good and bad things. You can either learn how to enjoy and keep moving, or you can get stuck forever. As I always tell myself: I might as well enjoy the climb, learn along the way, and embrace the path… instead of complaining and staying stuck for life.

🌸 WEEKLY AFFIRMATIONS

Use these affirmations to remind yourself that you can keep moving forward on this path:

  • I am learning to trust the process, even when I can’t see the outcome.
  • I am capable of walking through any storm.
  • I am exactly where I need to be in order to grow.
  • I don’t need all the answers to keep moving forward.
  • Chaos doesn’t destroy me, it transforms me.
  • Every day I get closer to the life I deserve.
  • My only responsibility now is to keep walking.
  • I am the kind of person who survives storms and blooms afterward.
  • I don’t give up. I reinvent myself.
  • This hard stage doesn’t define me, but it’s showing me what I’m made of.
  • Even if I can’t see the sun right now, I know it’s there.

đź’Ž LESSONS & PRACTICAL TIPS

What do I want you to take from this story?

  1. Storms come in different sizes, and learning to recognize them helps you know how to act. Some must be faced. Others require patience to walk through.
  2. Even when everything seems dark, the light is ALWAYS there, even if you can’t see it yet. Sometimes it comes when you stop desperately searching and start trusting that it will arrive.
  3. Hold on to what you love. The little things that make you smile. That song, that tea, that place, that conversation that reconnects you to yourself.

And when the storm passes (because it will), the light will come. Then the rainbow. And then the sun. And all the inner work you did, even in the dark, will be worth more than ever.

🧡 BYE BYE

Storms are part of life. We should even be grateful for them, because they make us stronger, braver, wiser. They’re an essential part of our evolution. Maybe the hardest, but also the most important.

If you’re walking through one right now, I’m sending you strength and patience. The light is on its way. 🌤️
